During the last ten years, it has helped thousands of people in Plymouth, with a range of advice and support services to both access and maintain housing.

Path now runs a Gateway service to provide additional housing support to offenders.
This project is part of a national pilot taking place within the south west, ending March 2008.

The Refugee Housing Support Service (RHSS) provides housing-related support to refugees, both individuals and families.  It aims to help refugees to keep their accommodation; in some cases, people are supported to find housing to begin with.

Since April 2006, following a successful bid to the Big Lottery Fund, we have been able to expand our services to look towards supporting the landlords and agents that work with us to house clients in the private rented sector.  In this section we hope to provide useful information for both landlords, and clients/members of the public who are looking to rent privately

For Tenants

Our tenancy support workers are here to help sustain and maintain tenancies where a client has had difficulties in doing so in the past.  If a person is deemed to be in need of tenancy support, referrals can be made via the Tenancy Support Team Leader.

Outreach

Tuesday & Thursday, a.m.

We aim to provide a regular point of contact for people who are street homeless.  Our workers are able to provide skilled support and advice on how to access local services.  We visit known rough sleeper sights, working to support people to move off the streets.

Drop-in

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10.00 - 12.00; Friday, Monday to Friday 14.00 - 16.00

This is a drop in service for people (at risk of) sleeping rough.  Clients can expect a short interview where their housing needs will be assessed.  If necessary we can refer clients to the Gates night shelter, hostels, or support their applications to other housing providers. Contact 255889

Sorry, we're not recruiting at the moment, but keep checking here, or in the Plymouth local papers.
